Like a statue Giant watched one day as soldier's high horses prance to the building to eat and drink. The renowned transport regiment looked down their long snouts at the stable occupants. The fluffy-tailed squirrel dreamed of being a warrior and joining the chargers in battle. Giant jumped on the manger full of soft hay trying to team up with them.

The troop neighed in laughter while chewing and champing with might and mane. For the first time Giant realized that the others might be right and she would never protect a king. The crestfallen squirrel climbed to the rafters and disappeared into her nest cavity taking a personal inventory and repeating her daily affirmations.
