Petals next to clay handprint

A clay plaque with Shelby's right handprint caught Petals' eye. "I should be a hand model! That's my good side, but on the other hand..." she talked to the hand casting while pointing finger guns. The three-dimensional living illustration held her pinky out daintely as she picked up a pair of rainbow colored water shoes with glove-like pockets for toes to fit in. Petals blinked disbelievingly, "Seriously?" With a hop, skip and a jump she looked out the window at the neighborhood coated with a mantle of white. "Exsqueeze me? Look at all that paper!"

"It is called snow," Shelby explained to her new pal.

"Pull my finger! Reminds me of home," Petals smiled. "Would you like to see? Put your hands together because this is going to be totes amazing!"
